Be a style contrairista!

When it comes to personal style, I live by these truths:

1. Fashion and beauty shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. (After all, it's harder to buy clothes that fit if you're missing limbs.)

2. Style doesn't need to have so many rules. (Come on, who likes wearing a uniform?!)

Chic Contraire was my fun blog experiment about being fabulously, thoughtfully, stylishly contrary at every age -- and all without draining your bank account, damaging your credit rating or (literally) buying into fast-fashion consumerism. While I no longer update, please feel free to explore the archives. (Remember, great style never goes out of fashion.)
